Tyler Yoon's foray into acting happened accidentally when he enrolled in a Voice 10 class at Santa Monica College. Having been a sales representative at various tech companies before getting into acting, he wanted to improve his English speech, his 2nd language.

The class, which was full of students studying acting in the theatre department at Santa Monica College, not only opened his eyes to acting but also gave him the joy of performing.

Since his introduction acting at Santa Monica College, Tyler has been featured in several indie features, including an unnamed project of Connor Storrie.
