Born and raised in Los Angeles, Frank Martinez fell in love with cinema, hopping from theater to theater as a young boy. 

He soon was drawn into the process of storytelling and began writing stories on the page.

In order to understand writing better, he tried his hand at acting and fell in love with giving a face and voice to the written word.

He was especially intrigued by the acting performances of Richard Jenkins, Michael Keaton, and Madeline Kahn. Each with the ability to shift from drama to varying styles of comedy.
